The project required extensive site preparation and precision earthworks to create the foundation for durable concrete driveways. Our team utilised the powerful CAT309 Excavator for primary excavation work, while the compact Kobelco SK17SR Excavator with specialist attachments handled detailed finishing work around existing infrastructure. The combination of these machines ensured thorough site preparation and optimal base conditions for the concrete installation.
Working with the showground’s operational requirements, we deployed our D’Avino 7 Tonne Site Dumper for efficient material transport across the facility, coordinating with our roller/compactor equipment to achieve proper base compaction and surface preparation. Our haulage truck fleet managed the logistics of material delivery and spoil removal, ensuring minimal disruption to the showground’s ongoing operations and events schedule.
The specialist attachments on our excavator fleet enabled precise grading and finishing work, ensuring proper drainage integration and seamless connection with existing pathways and infrastructure. Our roller/compactor equipment delivered the critical base preparation required for long-lasting concrete driveway performance under heavy event traffic conditions.
