Booms Up Civil delivered extensive earthworks for Zak Academy’s Kurri Kurri facility, working in close partnership with Insight Building Services to provide comprehensive site preparation and civil works.
The project encompassed bulk excavation across the development site, precise footings preparation for building foundations, and professional road pavement preparation to support the academy’s infrastructure requirements. Our team deployed a full fleet of specialised equipment to handle the diverse scope of works efficiently.
The John Deere E210 and CAT 306 6-tonne excavator managed the detailed excavation and footings work, while our John Deere 317G track loader provided versatile material handling and site grading capabilities. The CAT CB2.7 smooth drum roller ensured proper compaction for the road pavement base, with our haulage truck fleet coordinating efficient material movement throughout the project.
Working collaboratively with Insight Building Services, we maintained precise coordination between excavation phases and building construction schedules, ensuring seamless project delivery. The completed earthworks provide Zak Academy with properly prepared foundations and access infrastructure ready for the next construction phases.
